Need some support?

Reconnect works with young people, 12-18, and their families, within the Sutherland Shire, who have recently left home or are at risk of early home leaving, and where there are mental health concerns within the family.

Reconnect can help you to:

  • Get the most out of life
Work things out with your family
Stay at school when it gets tough
    Find training and employment
    Find somewhere safe to stay

The services provided by Reconnect are flexible depending on your needs and can include life coaching, practical support, counselling, conflict resolution, or other more relevant support.

All services are confidential and we can meet with you at a place where you feel most comfortable, such as your school, home, our office, or even at a coffee shop.

Project Well being

A mentoring program with a difference! - Multiple small groups- each using one of the key concepts of Positive Psychology, design a project which will demonstrate this concept to Year 9 students in an entertaining and creative way.

The goal is to inspire all Year 9 students to implement the skills associated with this concept, into their lives and also into the school environment. The yr 11 students act as facilitators/mentors of this group process and the projects are presented at a Year 9 assembly
